Chen Ping,?vice governor?of Hubei Province,?met with Dominic Trindade, Australian Consul General?in Shanghai?on?May 23,?in Wuhan, capital?city?of Hubei Province.

Chen expressed?her?warm welcome and?extended sincere appreciation for Australia’s support to Hubei's economic and social development.

She said that Hubei has stepped up efforts to become?an important pillar in the domestic circulation and a strategic link between domestic and international circulations.?The province will provide more development opportunities for countries around the world.

Chen?stressed that?Australia had?established?149 enterprises in Hubei by 2022.?It is hoped that?the two sides will take this?visit as an opportunity to enhance high-level visits, expand economic and trade cooperation, and deepen people-to-people exchanges, so as to?push bilateral cooperation to a new level.
